Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until the meat is browned and the onion is soft. Drain excess fat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in ketchup and mustard if using. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Unroll crescent roll dough or pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. If using crescent dough, pinch seams to form a rectangle. Cut into 6 to 8 equal rectangles.
- Spoon the beef mixture and shredded cheddar cheese onto each piece of dough. Roll up each one, tucking in the sides as you go, and place seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush over the tops of each rollup.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Optional: Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Serve warm with dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce.
